The ESBT (English Sport Bowling Tour) recently announced they had formed an alliance with one of the longest serving and most well known bowling Clubs in Europe, Sweden , Stockholm to be more exact……. AIK!! 🇸🇪
Most have heard about AIK either through social Media, the events they run, including the EBT tour stop or just from seeing the Logo/knowing names of bowlers! On the 6th of April , an ESBT team travelled to Sweden for a challenge match in Stockholm.
8 players , and Lee Chatfield (for managerial duties) heading to Stockholm to take on AIK in the Swedish league format , as a friendly. This is a first with hopefully a few more international teams, for all, men’s and ladies teams!
The matches were played on the Swedish League format which is doubles paced with 1 point available per match – 4 matches in total and 1 point for overall score – Team Vs Team. So, 5 points available each game.
They would play 4 games in total, so 20 points available to win.
