THE KINGS BOWL BOWLING TOURNAMENT
In October 2016 the great and the good, the old and the young, the talented and the ambitious descended upon Britain In The Sun from all corners of Europe to indulge themselves in a five day orgy of ten pin bowling. This very popular, highly anticipated tournament, which was imaginatively marketed as ‘ The Kings Bowl Bowling Tournament’ was heavily sponsored by The Government of Gibraltar. The total prize money at stake was £15,000 with prizes from £2,000 for the winners down to £100 for coming twelfth. With that kind of prize fund up for grabs, it was no surprise to see top bowlers from across The Continent and The UK come together in anticipation of some high quality, competitive bowling.
