So format 6 games for all teams with a scratch and handicap prize fund.
Going into the final game there was a small 23 pin gap between top team GAS (Grodan Humphries, Angie Brown, Steve Thornton) and 2nd placed Team Gizmo (Anna Yang, Sukky Gill, Paul Loberman)
But he was imperious all day and Steve Thornton rolled a 265 to ensure his team GAS took the title, with GIZMO settling for 2nd.
In the Handicap, Steve Flynn stepped up in the final 3 games after a poor start and dragged Carnage and Janice Hodge along to win the handicap division. In 2nd was Team Albatross – Mike Bergquist, Anglea Li and Steve Allardyce.
Individual call outs.
Steve Thornton was different gear today 1491 for his 6 games, 165 pins ahead of Carnage in 2nd – though Carnage would have beaten him comfortably with age bonus. In 3rd place was Chris West with 1311.
